The flower pot on the right has an unusual hole knockout. I have had this for several years and have asked several experts about why it is different. Usually this pot is fully signed Akro Agate Co. Clarksburg WV. I was told that maybe it was a transitional piece. Recently one was listed on EBAY and it was a lampshade on a vintage lamp. To me it makes sense. What do you think?

What you have is the bottom glass from a floor lamp (it sets on top of the weighted base, and has a steel or brass pipe that goes through it, and holds wiring) I have seen several lamps over the years with akro-agate cups like this, in different shapes.
